Learn More about Las Vegas Strip

There is probably no other city in the world so famous for its myths and legends. The mushroom city in the middle of the desert, the temple of glitz and spectacle, the city of sin where sex and lust are omnipresent, the world capital of casinos and slot machines, a metropolis with enormous hotels, sometimes kitschy sometimes amazing and unforgettable... Las Vegas is a city with many facets. A stopover city on the way to the great national parks of the American West, it is unthinkable to hope to cover it in a day or two. It is beautiful, shocking, sad and beautiful all at the same time. Love it or hate it, but one thing is for sure, a visit to Las Vegas will not leave you indifferent! Once you've settled into your hotel and visited the major casinos and gambling halls, it's time to see what else Las Vegas has to offer. And visiting Las Vegas can be pretty amazing! The National Atomic Testing Museum is both mesmerising and terrifying. It explores and documents the nuclear tests that took place in the Nevada desert, north of Las Vegas, through excellent museography. From the 1950s to the present day, there is a slight whiff of the Cold War, plutonium and bombs with unlimited destructive capabilities. If you like museums, the Mafia Museum is really interesting as it shows the controversial relationship between organised crime and law enforcement in the historical context of Las Vegas and the US as a whole. And if you like museums, visit the Neon Museum as well as the Las Vegas Natural History Museum and the DISCOVERY Children's Museum if you're coming with kids.
